Narnia Kitchen

We have called this kitchen the Narnia kitchen because of the pantry doors which conceals the room to the butlers pantry. All the cabinetry and joinery in the home was completed in its entirety by the Launceston Kitchen Centre.

The cabinetry doors have a gorgeous high gloss finish in Polytec’s Ultraglaze in the colour Anthracite Metallic providing a stunning rich grey tone.  The mechanisms for the cabinetry is made of Blum soft close components to ensure a quiet and seamless open and close movement. 

The interior of the cabinetry compliments the exterior cabinetry with The Kitchen Centre’s own Flemish board in the colour Storm, a beautiful grey colour in a matte finish.  The end panels, island front panels and bulkhead match the rest of the exterior cabinetry with Polytec’s Ultraglaze Anthracite also in the high gloss finish.  

The kickboards blend in a way that matches beautifully with the cabinetry handles in the colour Brushed Aluminium.  For added texture the splashback chosen is Tekform’s painted pattern finish in a slightly lighter grey tone than the rest of the cabinetry with a subtle ripple effect which is highlighted beautifully by the strip lighting that has been installed beneath the overhead cabinetry.  

The bench tops are another added feature to this kitchen with the ever popular 40mm Silestone Lagoon which incorporates the sunning grey and white marbled pattern throughout.  Some added accessories tie everything together including a Flemish cutlery tray in the colour Storm and the HF and HK Aventos overhead cabinetry. 

The butlers pantry contains matching cabinetry colours to the kitchen with a stunning bench top in Polytec’s 35mm Argentino Stone in a matte finish.  In the laundry a fresh crisp look has been achieved with Polytec’s melamine classic white cabinetry in a sheen finish.  Matching end panels, bulkhead and kickboards tie this look in nicely.  The bench top in the laundry was achieved using Polytec’s Fontaine colour in a matte finish. 

The vanity in the main bathroom and the ensuite was achieved using Polytec’s Createc in the colour Natural Oak with a high gloss finish providing a stunning glossy natural timber look. The white bench top for both vanities is a striking contrast in Silestone’s 20mm Blanco Zeus.

For the powder room a slightly different look was achieved to match with the kitchen cabinetry with Poltec’s Ultraglaze Anthracite Metallic in a high gloss finish. The bench top is also the same as the kitchen in the powder room opting for Silestone Lagoon. The splash back in the powder room is Tekform’s Painted pattern finish the same as the kitchen.

Finally, an outdoor servery in the alfresco area features a beautiful piece of blackwood timber. The cabinetry and joinery in this stunning home was designed by Andrew at Launceston Kitchen Centre.
