Timber Messmate

Building a new home can be a challenging prospect especially when there are so many options in terms of cabinetry and joinery designs. This home showcases a modern design with textures and colours, providing a space which is beautiful but also functional.

The main cabinetry in the kitchen has been completed in Polytec’s Crisp White melamine paired with stunning timber handles by Kethy. A highlighting feature is the edge tape on the white cabinets to match the interior in Flemish Storm, a striking grey. The front panel of the kitchen island and the centre overhead units have been completed Timber Veneer Messmate for a gorgeous timber grain finish. The main bench tops have been completed in Silestone Classic Calacutta creating a stunning marble pattern throughout the stone. The lowered bench top attached to the kitchen island incorporates more warmth using 40mm solid Tasmanian Oak. The strip lighting above the cook top is a great feature during cooking on the stove.

The laundry also has some great features which, ties into the other cabinetry. The open feature shelving has been completed in Polytec Tasmanian Oak in a Woodmatt finish is a welcomed feature. The bench top has been completed in laminate Polytec’s Calacutta D’oro, a very popular colour used on many of our benchtops. The cabinetry has been completed in Polytec’s Crisp White Melamine to match the kitchen cabinets, with the same Flemish Storm interior. Once again the timber handles have been completed by Kethy.

The wardrobes provide needed texture in the bedrooms and hallway space with the Kitchen Centre’s own Flemish Pure Concrete Light, with a gorgeous grey undertone. The wall hung vanity units have been completed in he stunning Timber Veneer Messmate. We love the finish it provides and ties in beautifully with other areas of the home which, also features this material. The cabinetry in the gorgeous home was designed by Andrew at the Launceston Kitchen Centre. We would also like to thank Mitch from Design to Live for all the assistance provided in the creation of this wonderful new home.
