Transforming a Classic Art Deco Townhouse in Launceston

At Kitchen Centre, we recently collaborated with Heidi to transform her classic Art Deco townhouse in Launceston. This project involved designing and installing a stunning open-plan kitchen, a walk-in pantry, and a functional laundry area. The result is a seamless blend of modern functionality and historical charm.

Working closely with Heidi and her family, we brought her vision to life, enhancing both the aesthetic and functionality of her home. Watch Heidi’s video tour of her new kitchen and hear about her experience with Kitchen Centre.

A key feature of this project is the use of hidden elements, creating a seamless integration of form and function. The hidden butler’s pantry, which also serves as a euro laundry, showcases efficient space utilization without compromising design.

We love heritage projects at Kitchen Centre, as they allow us to reinvent spaces while preserving historical elements. This 1930s Art Deco townhouse is a perfect example of maintaining classic integrity while catering to modern family needs.
