Sunny Kitchen

The old kitchen has been replaced with vibrant yellow cabinetry providing a calming effect to transport you to your happy place.  Located in the gorgeous Southern Tasmanian suburb of Taroona this kitchen although small, has loads of storage and all the modern kitchen features and appliances.  The door profile provides added detail to the cabinetry completed in Polytec’s Oberon 4 and painted in Dulux Happy, the vibrant yellow cabinetry exterior.

All the cabinetry matches perfectly in the same profile and colour including the end panels, island panels, kicks and cornice rails.  The bench top is in 40mm Silestone Blanco Maple with a polished finish.  This bench top has been continued around the entire kitchen and island.  In addition, it also provides some contrast to include a gorgeous white with grey and silver speckled patterns throughout  for added texture and gorgeous polished finish.  The kitchen handles  are simplistic but still stylish with a neutral chrome colour finish.  The handles have all been provided by Kethy who stock a range of handles in a variety of colours and materials.  The splash back tile is a large rectangle white tile and is a great colour choice to allow the yellow cabinet exterior to “pop.” Like many of our kitchens the cutlery trays have been made in the Kitchen Centre’s own Flemish range.

A highlight in the kitchen is the rangehood, a stunning feature over the Westinghouse induction cook top.  The tap hardware is a lovely feature by Hafele mounted on a 1 and 1/4  bowl sink by Estilo.  We love this kitchen which, provides nothing shy of sunshine every day of the year and bound to brighten your day.  This gorgeous kitchen was designed by Philippa at Kingston Kitchen Centre.
